Who the lunar witch is
The lunar witch organizes her life around moon cycles. The new moon is her intention moment — she writes her wishes, plants symbolic seeds, opens cycles. The full moon is her release moment — she lets go of what no longer serves, gives thanks, harvests what she planted. She keeps a moon journal, knows its phases by heart and feels the energy shifts in her body with each lunar transition. Her tools are selenite, moonstone, moon water and reflective writing.
Who the green witch is
The green witch works with the earth and everything that grows from it. She knows the properties of plants — not just medicinal, but magical: which attracts protection, which opens doors, which calms the mind. Her altar is filled with living plants, soil from different places, seeds and dried leaves. She goes to the field or garden to recharge energy. She knows that nature has its own rhythm and that aligning with it is the oldest form of magic.

Lunar witch: works with time (cycles, phases, moments); primary element is water and intuition; rituals are nocturnal and lunar; connects with the internal, the unconscious and dreams. Green witch: works with space (earth, garden, nature); primary element is earth and sensoriality; rituals are outdoors and seasonal; connects with the external, nature cycles and the physical world.
Can you be both?
Yes. The archetypes are not mutually exclusive — they are dominant tendencies. Many lunar witches have a sacred herb garden; many green witches organize their harvests by moon phases. If you feel called to both, your practice may be rooted in two archetypes, or you may be in a transition between one and the other. The important thing is to identify which one feels most like your natural center.
How to know which one you are
Ask yourself this concrete question: if you had a free afternoon and wanted to do something that connected you with your spirituality, would you go walk through the forest or wait for night to work under the moon? There is no right answer — there is only yours. If the moon calls you more, you are more lunar. If the earth calls you more, you are more green.
