What astrocartography is and how it works
Astrocartography is a technique developed by Jim Lewis in the 1970s that projects your natal chart onto a world map. For each planet, it draws the lines on Earth where that planet was exactly on the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven or IC at the moment of your birth. Living or spending time near those lines activates the energy of that planet more intensely than in your birthplace.
What planetary lines are and what each one activates
Each planet generates four lines on the map: AC (Ascendant), DC (Descendant), MC (Midheaven) and IC (Imum Coeli). The Jupiter-MC line typically indicates zones favorable for career and recognition. The Venus-AC line activates relationships and personal wellbeing. The Saturn line may imply sustained discipline and effort. The Pluto line tends toward intensity and deep transformation. The combination of nearby lines in the same zone determines its overall effect.
